Brandi Pawliuk, RN
Brandi is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master's in Psychiatric Nursing. She has been a certified CPR instructor since 2008 and an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at MacEwan University since 2010 - where she was recognized with a 2026 Teaching Award for excellence in the classroom.
At MacEwan, Brandi helped develop Alberta's first Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing degree. She spent seven years working on Unit 301 at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and continues there on a casual basis, keeping her clinical skills sharp and current.
Brandi's teaching philosophy is simple: connection and belonging come before performance. She builds classes that feel calm, practical, and genuinely supportive - because she knows that most people come in a little nervous, and leaving confident is the whole point.
She is a mom of three and an animal lover (yes, she did name the business after her dog). Brandi holds additional certificates in Effective De-escalation Techniques and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and received the REACH Award for Achieving Performance Excellence in 2007.
